Meet Christine Hall, co-owner of Giddy Grocer on Bermondsey Street. Christine spent most of her working life as a documentary maker but, becoming disillusioned with the industry she once loved, decided to pursue another of her passions and open a food shop. Giddy Grocer was born.

Meet Keith and Lorna Taylor, the founders of Taylor’s of Maltby Greengrocers. The business was born on Maltby Street Market in 2019 and they have supported their customers and the Bermondsey community with their fresh fruit and vegetables since opening and throughout the pandemic. Within two days of the lockdown announcement in 2020, they had taken their business online and provided home deliveries which has continued to be a huge part of their business today.
